I purchased the Removal Brush or the Untangle Brush in plastic first. I have thin, very fine hair that tangles up in a fine web-like mess very easily. I have tried lots of "untangle" brushes for that reason. This brush is my favorite. It glides through tangled, fine hair with ease. No pain, no tearing hair out. I was so thrilled with my first brush, I decided I needed one for my purse. This purse sized wooden handle brush is lovely, and works wonderfully. Thank you!!!
Luv this brush - always keep 2 on hand. If I’ve lost one, I replace it immediately. R lab puppy loves them as well.
I was recommended the Sheila Stotts application brush so I ordered one as well as the detangle brush. Pretty expensive for a brush came to £130. Could've got a Mason & Pherson for that. When they arrived, they are precisely the same brush, just one is plastic and the other wood. The wire bristles are so hard it's like one of the dog brushes. I'm not sure how this is an application brush? No idea how that would work. I hardly use mine it's just too hard. It's okay for untangling hair but I still have to use my bore bristle beforehand.
Not impressed at all. Bit of a market gimmick.
We apologize for the confusion, we do strive to include as much information about our brushes in the description. Our 3 Untangle brushes are essentially the same except for the Wood series being made with a solid maple wood handle and no drainage hole as the wood series is not meant for wet work. We will have our customer service team reach out to you to answer any other questions you may have! Have a beautiful day!
Brush (bristles) is amazing but the new wood handle is not so great. Gets ruined easily when wet. This is for the LARGE brush.
Even for dry hair this brush adds fluff. I have a lot of very fine hair so not really anything works but this brush prepares my hair for the blow out and styling!
