I was really excited to have a way to straighten my hair without a flat iron. My hair is medium thick with a natural wave. I tried this brush with my Dyson on wet, sectioned hair. It took out all my natural wave but gave me a look that felt unpolished, like I needed to correct it with a hot flat iron or curling iron. I tried it with my Dyson on dry hair as a sort of refresher. It left my hair straighter than it was, but also a little poofy. It pulls a lot, and takes some strength to use.. maybe I am doing it wrong. This is not the hair tool I hoped it would be!
This tool is so lightweight and great for refreshing my smooth, straight blowouts between washes. I love that I no longer need to use a damaging flat iron to quickly and easily retouch my sleeK look. So, the flat iron brush is truly fantastic—even for those of us with thick, dry, course, curly and humidity-susceptible hair!
I received my Wood Flat Iron Brush and it exceeded my expectations. The first use was on a client with frizzy curls and the first pass was as straight as if I flat ironed her hair. It also seemed to dry quicker. I can't wait to use it on Brazilian Blowouts!
